1.0 update sorta killed the vibe for me lots of changes that are worse than in previous versions. I would recommend this if it just rolled back a few updates.

One of the game’s highlights is how it cleverly bakes a sense of community into its design through the implementation of phantoms – ghosts of other players who came before you and were bested by the temple. Beyond merely providing a glimpse of where others died, these phantoms are both an assistance and a hindrance, as they activate the many proximity-based traps in each temple.

With the Ice Whip, however, so long as you have the Icy Feet curse still enabled, you can use the momentum of your slide to boost your horizontal distance. Slide, let go of all keys and then quickly crouch and jump while you still have momentum.

Is there in the later course a whip with speed thrust, or how is that explained? I don't want to shout Speedhack, but it sounds very strange.

Each temple run is a blind charge through a procedurally generated funhouse murder dungeon. These dungeons range in challenge from ‘leisurely, unhurried jog’ to ‘holy shit what the fuck’. Traps include everything from spike walls to bottomless pits, whirling blades and flying bombs, falling blocks and poison darts, and more. Depending on the level, there might even be a chance for an enemy to spawn, a protector of the temple’s treasure that harries the players at every turn.
